Payment & Fraud Prevention

Protect your order. Verify payment instructions before sending funds.

A change of bank details? Stop and verify.

We do not routinely change our receiving bank account. Never act on a claimed change based only on an email, WhatsApp message, or revised Proforma Invoice (PI). Independently confirm the beneficiary and bank details with OneChassis through a contact channel you have already verified before making payment.

We have encountered attempts to impersonate OneChassis and target our communication accounts. Fraudsters may use look-alike email addresses, copied WhatsApp profiles, fake PIs, or altered payment details to redirect your funds. A familiar name, company logo, or previous message history does not by itself prove that a payment request is genuine.

Four checks before you pay

01 · BANK DETAILS

Verify any change

Treat a new beneficiary, bank account, bank location, or payment method as a warning sign. Pause payment until the change is independently confirmed. An apparently official change notice is not enough.

02 · PROFORMA INVOICE

Check the full PI

Check the order reference, products, amount, currency, beneficiary name, and bank details against your confirmed order. If a replacement PI changes payment information, verify it before paying.

03 · EMAIL & WHATSAPP

Check who is contacting you

Inspect the complete email address and WhatsApp number, not just the display name or logo. Be cautious about new accounts, unexpected attachments, urgent requests, or instructions to keep a payment confidential.

04 · INDEPENDENT CONFIRMATION

Use a trusted second channel

Call a number you previously verified, or open our official website yourself. Do not use a phone number, link, or QR code supplied in the suspicious message to verify that same message.

If something looks suspicious

  1. Pause the payment. Do not send funds, share passwords or verification codes, approve an unexpected login, or scan an unfamiliar account-linking QR code.
  2. Verify independently. Contact your established OneChassis representative through a separate, previously verified channel. Simply replying to the same suspicious email or chat is not independent verification.
  3. Keep the evidence. Preserve the original email, sender address or number, PI, message screenshots, and payment instructions so the request can be checked.

Already sent a payment you suspect is fraudulent?

Contact your bank or payment provider immediately and ask about stopping or recalling the transfer. Notify OneChassis through a verified channel and report the incident to the appropriate local authorities. Recovery is not guaranteed, so prompt action matters.
